Special Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a part-time Assistant for infants. We are looking for an Assistant candidate who has an excellent work ethic, heart for children, and a willingness to learn more about early childhood education. Experience and/or education is a plus - but we will train the right candidate.Day in the life:"
- Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Following a predetermined curriculum and daily schedule
- Decorating the class and keeping classrooms clean and orderly
- Creating and filling out daily reports for children individually
- Communication with parents (answering phone calls, beginning/end of day questions)
- Meeting children’s basic needs (diapers, bottles, etc.)
What do we require?
- No previous childcare experience needed, we’re willing to train someone that has an interest in getting into the field
Is this you?
- Patient, Assistant Teachers need to be able to respond to difficult situations calmly
- Interpersonal skills, ability to work well with people to develop good relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
- Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis while spending most of the day on your feet

What are we looking for?
Special Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher (4-5) with a heart for children, a strong work ethic, and a good understanding of early childhood development, to join our team in Overland Park, KS. Experience is required for this position."Day in the life:"
- Care, education, and supervision of children in their classroom
- Implementing provided lesson plans or teacher may plan their own under guidelines of curriculum
- Follow classroom schedule
- Parent and teacher communication, both verbal and written
- Classroom decoration and design (training and budget provided)
- Child observation and assessment (training provided)
What do we require?
- Familiarity with and following childcare center rules and regulations
- Willingness and ability to work with Assistant Teachers (management training provided)
- Attendance and participation in Parent/Teacher conferences, quarterly family events, and staff meeting/training sessions
Is this you?
- Interest in helping and teaching young children in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and school management
- Instructional skills, able to explain things in terms young children can understand
